Our Curriculum

At Bayside Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten, we believe that a child’s earliest development flourishes through strong, nurturing relationships—especially with their families, who are their first and most influential teachers. Our educators honour each child’s cultural identity, family background, and personal context, recognising these as central to their sense of being, belonging and becoming.

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to reflect each child’s unique strengths, interests, and learning style. Program planning is always ensuring children feel motivated, confident, and deeply engaged in their learning experiences.

We embrace a holistic approach, supporting every aspect of a child’s growth—including physical, personal, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Educators use sustained, meaningful conversations to extend children’s thinking and provide a balanced blend of child-led, child-initiated, and educator-supported learning.

Learning Environments That Inspire

Our indoor and outdoor learning spaces are carefully created to encourage exploration, creativity, problem-solving, and connection. These environments inspire conversations and strong relationships between children, educators, families, and the broader community.

Ongoing Learning Documentation

We understand how important it is for families to stay connected to their child’s learning journey. Each month, our educators prepare a summary of your child’s strengths, interests, achievements, and learning progress. This includes updates on their personal, social, and emotional development, giving families a clear picture of how their child is growing and thriving.

Specialised Approaches in Each Room
