CHILDCARE OF OUR DREAMS
We honestly stumbled across this beautiful childcare centre completely by accident on one of our pram walks and I feel so lucky we did. (Mentone East)
Before this, we had tried two other centres. There wasn’t anything seriously wrong with them, but one became too expensive for us, and the other was just too far from home to make daily life manageable.
This centre, though… it ticks every single box.
My little girl is absolutely thriving here and it’s not just her. Every time I do drop-off or pick-up, I notice the same thing: happy, smiling children, all actively engaged in play. Not just playing on their own, but genuinely interacting with each other. I don’t hear crying — just chatter, laughter, and busy little learners.
The space itself is freshly painted, bright, and full of thoughtful, educational toys. The food is amazing. And one of my favourite features is the partially COVERED outdoor area, which means the kids can still get fresh air and explore even when it’s drizzling. I love that they’re not stuck inside just because of the weather. These days while it’s not freezing cold they eat their food outside and I freaking love it that they do.
It’s a family-owned centre, and the owners are also hands-on educators. They are incredibly kind, warm people and it shows. My daughter literally smiles and reaches out to them to be picked up. All the children adore the educators… you just can’t fake that kind of connection.
I truly can’t praise this place enough.
Just to be clear — this isn’t an ad, and I’m not posting this for a friend. This is genuinely our experience. My girl giggles on the way home and walks in without tears at drop-off… and that says everything to me. I feel really blessed that we found this place.

From the minute we walked in the door and met Negar, we knew that BELC was the right centre for us. All the staff go above and beyond for the kids, and you can tell they truly love and have a passion for the work they do!
Our little one absolutely loved his time at the centre and formed some really beautiful relationships with both his educators and peers. Because the centre is small and kept very clean, we also noticed a big drop in sickness compared to our little one’s previous daycare.
Negar and the team have created something truly special, a real community, and if it wasn’t for the fact that we’re moving overseas, we would’ve attended BELC for years to come. We will miss them all dearly and wish them all the best!

6 Weeks Free Offer
Terms and Conditions- The offer. Families who enrol a child at Bayside Early Learning's Mentone East campus (37 Blackwood Avenue) receive one week of free care for each month the child remains continuously enrolled, up to a maximum of six free weeks over the first six months of enrolment.
- How it works. One free week is credited for each completed month of continuous enrolment. To receive the full six weeks free, the child must remain continuously enrolled for at least six months. If enrolment ends before six months, only the free weeks already credited apply and no further weeks accrue.
- Limited spots. The offer is strictly limited to the first 25 enrolments at the Mentone East campus. Once 25 spots are filled the offer closes, whether or not it remains advertised at that time.
- Eligibility. The offer is available to new enrolments only and applies per child. It cannot be combined with any other offer or discount, has no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Childcare Subsidy. The free week is applied as a credit toward your out of pocket gap fees, being the amount payable after any Child Care Subsidy. The offer does not change your Child Care Subsidy entitlement, which is assessed by Services Australia.
- Bookings. Booking a campus tour does not reserve a spot. A spot is secured only once enrolment is confirmed and enrolment requirements are completed.
- Changes. Bayside Early Learning may amend, pause or withdraw this offer at any time. Any change will not affect families already enrolled under the offer.
- Operator. The offer is provided by Bayside Early Learning at the Mentone East campus, 37 Blackwood Avenue, Mentone.
